In the UK, we spend £4 billion per year on chocolate! But currently less than 1% of these sales are made up of Fairtrade products. YOU can change this by getting involved There are 5 ways to take action! with our Stock The Choc! campaign; it’s all about persuading local shops and national supermarkets to stock Fairtrade chocolate: the more places that sell Dubble and Divine, the more people will buy it, meaning more money and benefits for cocoa farmers The 45 000 cocoa farmers of Kuapa Kokoo in Ghana, who grow all the beans for Dubble and Divine, would love to sell all of their cocoa beans to Fairtrade companies… but there isn’t enough demand for Fairtrade chocolate. You can change this!.

The Co-op is celebrating five years of own brand Fairtrade Chocolate! In 2002 the Co-operative took the step of only using Fairtrade cocoa in its block chocolate bars. All the cocoa in Co-op's block chocolate comes from one single co-operative in Ghana. Can you guess who it is? That's right... Kuapa Kokoo!
