HABBO HOTEL 'STOCKS' FAIRTRADE

Well done to Dubble Agents on a succesful campaign to persuade Habbo Hotel www.habbohotel.co.uk is a virtual online 'world' with around 1 million young visitors per month. Now the virtual hotel features Dubble chocolate in its cafes, lots of people will find out about it. This will hopefully lead to young people buying real Fairtrade products from real shops bringing real benefits to cocoa farmers in Ghana. to 'stock' Fairtrade chocolate in their virtual cafes and restaurants. Seeing Fairtrade in the online hotel, will hopefully encourage young people to buy real Fairtrade products in real shops bringing real benefits to cocoa farmers!

"Dear Habbo, I think you should stock Fairtrade products because not only would you be encouraging young people to think about buying Fairtrade products, ultimately helping poor farmers in deprived countires make more money so that can actually feed their families, you would also be showing the members of Habbo Hotel who already care about others that you do too!

All you have to do is program a virtual chocolate bar into Habbo Hotel, Fairtrade will do the rest!

Agent Becky from Dubble Agents and an amazing 'virtual' demonstration, Habbo Hotel have decided to feature Fairtrade products! Read this quote"Our community clearly stated that they wanted us to stock Fairtrade goods in Habbo’s cafés and eateries, so we responded by doing so. Although these are virtual goods, this is symbolic of real changes in our society and we aim to be at the forefront of what is important to teens. VIRTUAL DEMO

Lots of Dubble Agents took part in the virtual demonstration in Habbo Hotel. They visisted the "Ice Cafe" and shouted "STOCK THE FAIRTRADE CHOC!".
