PETITION
It's time to exercise some people power and turn your one action into lots of votes for Fairtrade! A petition is a list of names and signatures of people who feel really strongly about an issue. A petition is a great way to let shopkeepers and shop managers know that if they stocked Dubble or Divine Fairtrade chocolate, lots of people would buy it!

TIPS
- Make a few photocopies of your petition before handing it into your local shopkeeper. Keep these copies safe in case the shop loses your original copy.
- Make sure you hand in the petition to the right person at the shop, this will usually be the shop manager.
- Ring up your local newspaper and tell them what you are doing. Invite them to come down to the shop when you hand in the petition.
