ASK IT!

Gathering information on your local newsagents, food shops and other potential stockists (cafes, theatres, cinemas, football grounds) is really important for Dubble HQ to know who is and isn’t stocking Fairtrade and why.

Use this questionnaire on one or more potential stockists, and remember to upload the results afterwards in an Agent Report.

Don’t forget you could also adopt one of the shops you interview as your ‘dubbly good shop’ and log them on the online map as part of MISSION:POSSIBLE.

Tips:

  • Before you start asking questions, introduce yourself to the shop staff and tell them what you are doing, ask them the best person to speak to.
  • Let the staff know that it will take about 5 minutes. If they don’t have that much time, ask them if you can come back at a less busy time.
  • If you are under 16, make sure you tell an adult what you are going out to do.
  • If possible, try and have a Dubble and Divine bar with you so if the shop manager has never seen one you can show it to them.
  • Remember to thank the shop keeper at the end!

It’s not just shops that need to hear your demands for Fairtrade. ‘Ask it’ with thousands of others and use your Positive Pester Power to support Fairtrade!
