What a journey! The Dubble and Divine bars have finished their trek from bean to bar. The final stage of the chocolate chain is YOU! As a consumer, the choices you make have an influence all the way back through the chain to its very beginning, the cocoa farmer.

In the UK, we spend over £4 billion per year on chocolate! (The Biscuit, Cake, Chocolate and Confectionery Association, figure for 2003) But less than 1% of these sales are made up of Fairtrade products. The farmers of Kuapa Kokoo in Ghana would love to sell all of their cocoa beans to Fairtrade companies, but there isn’t enough demand for Fairtrade chocolate. You have power in your pocket to make a difference.

WHAT CAN YOU DO?

You can help to grow the market for Fairtrade chocolate and other Fairtrade products. Vote with your tastebuds! choose Dubble and Divine chocolate! And encourage your friends and family to do the same. When you can’t see Fairtrade chocolate in the shops, join our Stock The Choc campaign and help to persuade shops and supermarkets to stock Fairtrade chocolate and other products.
